| June 7 | 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. |
Cook out, Kite Flying, Frisbee & Hiking
at Reservoir Park: 500 E. just south of Sycamore Road. Bring soda pop and some food to share (chips, cookies, etc.); hamburgers and hot dogs provided. Bring kites, yard games and plan to hike. Siblings with parents welcome. Free. |
| June 16 | 6:15-8 p.m. |
Miniature Golf Location TBD. Cost: $3 per person, $2 each for more than one person in family golfing. Parents & siblings welcome. ALL supervised HPC PEOPLE ARE WELCOME, but the youth will golf in groups of fellow teens. No younger children without parents please. |

Fort Wayne Zoo
Leave the church at 9:30 a.m. Bring a sack lunch or money for food, sun hat/lotion, and plan to have a great time. Cost: $6 for first person in family, $4 additional; drivers who tote at least two teens get one free ticket. Leave from & return to church parking lot. Return before 5 p.m. Siblings and parents welcome. All HPC people are welcome to caravan with us and get this group rate. |

Church Garage Sale
Proceeds go to CEF Summer Missionary Program. People can begin bringing in items to sell on Sunday, June 19. Teens will run sale. Leftover merchandise will be donated to the Rescue Mission. No junk, such as items that are torn, stained or in need of repair. After the sale, youth may opt to attend the Kingdom Come Festival at Foster Park, bit they will not be under HPC supervision. This event will feature over a dozen Christian rock bands. |

Pass out Programs at Highland Park
for the Park Band Concert in patriotic garb. Give Pastor Ed bragging rights. (He serves on the Park Band board and sometimes as the MC.) Bring lawn chairs if you want to enjoy the concert from 8-9PM. Everyone welcome; younger children and adults may assist. Free. |
| June 30 | 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. |
Swim Party/Cookout at Martins' 950 W 200 S, near Oakbrook Valley Park. We'll have a fight. Bring balloons, super-soakers, and squirt guns. Dress to get wet, and bring a change of clothes. Opportunities to canoe and enjoy casual sports. Remember, modest is hotest. Bring soda pop and some food to share (chips, cookies, etc.). Hamburgers and hot dogs provided. Bring kites, frisbees, and water weapons. Siblings with parents welcome. Free. |

Swim Party/Cookout at Aldridges' Swim till 5 pm; cookout from 5 to 6; leave at 6. Hot dogs and hamburgers provided. Guys, bring soda pop; gals, junk food. Meet and pick up at the Aldridge residence. Siblings with parents welcome. Free. Rain date is Aug 19. |

Senior Camp Emmanuel at Sangralea Valley Get Pastor Ed's signature for him to vouch that you are well-behaved, attend church regularly before applying and memorize the Romans Road (Romans 3:10, 3:23, 5:8, 6:23, 10:9, and 10:13) Free. Completed grade 7 through high school. Junior camp July 17-22 for ages 9-12. For more info, see Camp Emmanuel. |

Semi-Formal Ballroom Dance and Pizza Party
with dance lesson by Pastor Ed & Marylu. Guys: coat and tie or suits or tuxes; gals: skirts or dresses. Cost $5 for pizza and pitch-in with soda pop, chips, or desserts, etc. Parents welcome, but no young children please. |

Indianapolis Indians Baseball Game Meet at church. Return around midnight. Cost: $9 first person in family, $6 for each additional. Bring extra money for food. We will stop for fast food on the way. Drivers transporting youth get two free tickets. Supervised children and HPC church family welcome! |

Heat Wave Summer Swim Party at Fred & Towana Aldridge residence. Bring $4 to pitch in for pizza. Bring soda pop and snacks to share. Organized by Debbie Pemberton. Siblings with parents welcome. Rain date is August 19. |

Scoops After Sunday night meeting, bring money for ice cream as we patronize this unofficial Highland Park Church hangout. |

Summer Youth Group: Team Players for the Kingdom This group meets during the summer (replacing BASIC). Youth meet from 6 to 7:30 with some youth meeting at 5:30 to prepare. This Youth Group takes on a somewhat Messianic Jewish motiff with the Shorashim (Hebrew for "Roots," young men who are trained weekly by Pastor Ed to teach the lesson), The Dances of David (Messianic praise dancing), the Sons and Daughters of Korah (Music), and a few other groups as well. Lots of spiritual growth and lots of fun is in store! |
